Hospital Auxillary
In May 1954, St. Mary's Auxiliary was formed, its purpose “to assist in the hospital care of the physically, spiritually and mentally sick.” Over the years, Auxiliary contributions have exceeded $2.5 million, providing television sets for all patient rooms, an organ for the Chapel, a communications system, treadmills for Rehabilitation Services, a lift for the whirlpool therapy room and many pieces of hospital equipment.
