General surgeon, Dr. Benjamin Andrew now caring for patients in Green Bay and Oconto falls

Green Bay –  Prevea Health is pleased to welcome Benjamin Andrew, MD, a general surgeon now caring for patients in Green Bay and Oconto Falls.

A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Andrew specializes in general surgery; robotic and laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery; gastrointestinal surgery for benign and malignant disease; skin cancer surgery; basic and complex hernia repairs and endoscopy.

Dr. Andrew sees patients at the Prevea St. Mary’s Health Center, 1860 Shawano Ave. in Green Bay and at the Prevea Oconto Falls Medical Services Building at 583 S. Main St. in Oconto Falls. He performs surgeries at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. 

“I have been involved in patient care from tertiary medical centers to critical access hospitals, providing basic and complex care throughout my training and practice,” said Dr. Andrew. “I strive to partner with each patient as we work together toward a common goal, focusing on their autonomy, beliefs, and desired outcomes.”

Dr. Andrew earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed a residency in general surgery at University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
