Applications Now Open: Viola Thompson Scholarship Fund

Applications are now open for HSHS Holy Family Hospital’s Viola Thompson Scholarship Fund for the Fall 2026 semester. The hospital is accepting applications through March 1, 2026. Students pursuing a career in health care can apply and learn more at hshsholyfamily.org/scholarships.
The Viola Thompson Scholarship Fund was established to recruit, train, educate and retain licensed health care providers to serve the Bond County area. “This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity to support local students pursuing careers in health care and help them reach their professional goals,” said Teresa Cornelius, Chief Administrative Officer at Holy Family Hospital.
Individuals who have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in a health care professional curriculum offering a degree or certification are eligible to apply. Once awarded, students may remain eligible for ongoing semester scholarships. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
