Located at 904 Medical Park Drive in Effingham, the Center for Pediatric Therapy represents a transformative expansion in pediatric health care for the region. The 4,600-square-foot facility is the first and only comprehensive center of its kind serving Effingham, Coles and surrounding counties, offering innovative treatment in a child-friendly environment designed to promote development, improve mobility and encourage independence.

The Center for Pediatric Therapy offers specialized care for children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, developmental delays, traumatic brain injuries and other congenital conditions. "We're thrilled to bring this specialized center to our region – there's nothing else like it in Effingham, Coles or the surrounding counties," said Tammy Probst, Rehab and Wellness Director at St. Anthony's. "Families no longer have to travel hours for the specialized pediatric therapy their children need. By offering treatment in a child-friendly environment designed to accommodate their age, developmental stage and therapeutic requirements, we can help kids thrive right here in their own community."

The public is encouraged to tour the newest facility for HSHS St. Anthony’s Rehab and Wellness, which is in addition to their adult therapy services offered at the Richard E. Workman Sports Complex and all the therapies offered at St. Anthony’s Health Center in Altamont.
