Wound Healing Center Celebrates 15 Years With Open House on August 5
July 29, 2025
HSHS St. Anthony’s Wound Healing Center is proud to celebrate 15 years of exceptional patient care with a community open house on Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 5 to 7 p.m. Community members are invited to tour the recently updated center, learn about advanced wound healing treatments and witness demonstrations of the center’s hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers.
The Wound Healing Center is located within HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital at 503 N. Maple St., Effingham. Those attending the open house should enter through the hospital’s Emergency Department entrance off Mulberry Street.
The milestone celebration coincides with a remarkable achievement: the Wound Healing Center has earned the prestigious Healogics Center of Distinction award for 15 consecutive years, making it one of only two centers nationwide to maintain this honor for a decade and a half.
"For fifteen years, our dedicated team has been committed to providing specialized wound care that changes lives," said Dr. Jeff Brummer, Medical Director of HSHS St. Anthony’s Wound Healing Center. "We're thrilled to open our doors to the community and showcase how our advanced treatments help patients return to healthier, more active lives."
Visitors to the open house will enjoy:
