HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular welcomes Walter A. Parham, MD, FACC, a board-certified cardiologist, to Prairie Cardiovascular-O'Fallon, 3 St. Elizabeth Blvd., Suite 1800.
Dr. Parham provides comprehensive and preventive cardiology care, diagnosing and treating a full range of heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. He also helps patients lower their risk of future heart problems through early evaluation and ongoing management. Whether patients are experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath or need long-term heart care, Dr. Parham offers thorough assessments to guide their next steps.

A cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri, Dr. Parham completed his internal medicine residency at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, followed by fellowships in critical care medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology at St. Louis University School of Medicine. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
