Rehabilitation
Whether you're recovering from an injury, surgery or a change in health, the team at HSHS St. Elizabeth's meets you where you are and helps you rebuild strength, mobility and independence.
Primary Services
Our licensed therapists provide individualized care across three primary disciplines and specialty services.
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists help patients recover from injuries, disease and post-surgical symptoms.
Using state-of-the-art equipment, our skilled physical therapists help patients restore self-confidence by increasing strength and mobility, decreasing pain and expanding overall function.
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapists help patients of all ages with physical, developmental, emotional and social needs build the skills for independent, productive living — from relearning daily tasks like feeding, bathing, grooming and cooking to rebuilding the motor skills behind them.
Treatment may include splints, adaptive equipment and home modifications for patients and their families, along with care for upper extremity disorders of the arm and hand.
Speech Therapy
Our speech language pathologists treat patients of all ages who have problems with speech, language, hearing or swallowing.
They can also strengthen a patient’s ability to read and write, recall information, organize and express thoughts, and use problem-solving skills.
