Community Invited to Cardiopulmonary Services Open House on October 29

The respiratory therapists at HSHS St. Francis Hospital are celebrating Respiratory Care Week, Oct. 25-31, by opening their doors to the community. An open house will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the hospital's Cardiopulmonary Services department. Please enter through the hospital’s main entrance.
 
Guests are invited to stop by to meet the team, tour the department, ask questions and enjoy light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public.
 
Cardiopulmonary Services is now located on the first floor of the hospital, between the Surgery and Emergency departments and conveniently down the hall from Radiology. The new location means less walking for patients, easier coordination for nuclear stress tests and quick access to Emergency Department physicians if needed.
 
The new space offers a range of heart and lung testing, including electrocardiograms (EKGs), Holter monitoring, pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and stress testing.
