HSHS St. Francis Hospital officials announced that $50,000 was raised at the recent “50 Years with Frankie Valli Music & Memories” concert that was held to celebrate the hospital’s 150th anniversary and to benefit the hospital’s Family Maternity Center.

Litchfield natives Robby and Rex Robinson and Chuck Wilson were joined by other musicians who have performed with Frankie Valli for the Nov. 8 event held at the W.D. Kilton Performing Arts Center. Robby Robinson said, “Returning to our beloved hometown of Litchfield was an unforgettable experience. The show was a complete sellout. Thank you to all our Litchfield friends; you have always been so graciously supportive of us. What an incredible blessing to see our community rally together once again. Litchfield has always been the place that shaped us, and every time we come home, we feel that love in a profound way.”

Robinson added, “Celebrating 150 years of St. Francis Hospital, a place that has cared for generations of families, including ours, made the evening more meaningful. I’m deeply grateful for this amazing community and honored to share this milestone with the town that shaped so much of our lives and careers. The whole band felt truly honored to be a part of such a meaningful night for our hometown and for St. Francis Hospital.”

Paula Endress, Philanthropy Program Manager at the hospital, said, "Our heartfelt thanks to Robby and Rex Robinson for bringing yet another all-star band to Litchfield. This was the fourth concert they have done to support our hospital, and through their efforts a total of $366,000 has been realized. What a magical night of spectacular music it was! Our sincere thanks to the concert planning committee for their leadership: Gwen Barcum, Bill Borkland, Steve Bryant, Sharon Cordani, Denise DeLaCruz, Elisa Feldmann, Suzanne Fleming, Shari Grandidier, Nancy Hyam, Jane Martin, Bill Montgomery, Kate Poirot and Dawn Stoecker.”

Aryn Hunter, Chief Administrative Officer for HSHS St. Francis Hospital, stated, “Thank you to the HSHS St. Francis Foundation for sponsoring another very successful event.
