Robinson Brothers Homecoming Concert set for November 8

In honor of HSHS St. Francis Hospital’s 150th Anniversary, the HSHS St. Francis Foundation is hosting the Robinson Brothers Concert IV on Saturday, Nov. 8 at W.D. Kilton Performing Arts Center at1100 N. Old Route 66, Litchfield.
The theme of this event is “50 Years with Frankie Valli: Memories & Music.” The Robinson Brothers, Robby and Rex, two of central Illinois’ rock ‘n’ roll legends, return to their native Litchfield accompanied by fellow Litchfield native Chuck Wilson and the Frankie Valli Alumni Band. Doors will open at 7 p.m., with the concert starting at 7:30 p.m.
Robby Robinson said, "This is not just another tribute show. This is the real band, the alumni who shared the stage with Frankie Valli for decades. For Rex and I, our hearts will always be in our hometown of Litchfield. We are excited to have Dominic Scaglione Jr. join us, who starred as Frankie Valli in the Broadway, Chicago and Las Vegas productions of ‘Jersey Boys.’ This is an event you won't want to miss!"
Program Manager of Philanthropy Paula Endress said, “This will truly be ‘Oh, what a night’ with Frankie Valli’s music and stories with the band that lived it. It will be an evening of live music, personal stories and multimedia elements, creating an experience that is more than a concert. We are honored that Robby and Rex are returning home again to graciously benefit our hospital. Their music and generosity are an inspiration to the families in this area who will benefit from this event.”
Individual tickets are now available and are $50 per person, which includes snacks and beverages. For $1,000, attendees may purchase table seating for eight people and pre-admission at 5:30 p.m. for a complimentary appetizer dinner buffet and beverages.

MEET THE BAND MEMBERS
Robby Robinson (Music Director/Hammond Organ and Keyboards): Litchfield’s own Robby Robinson has been music director and keyboardist for Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons since 1978. His 50-year career spans from Litchfield teen dances to London’s Royal Albert Hall, performing with legends like Liza Minnelli, The Commodores and Tom Jones.
Rex Robinson (Bass/Vocals): For more than 20 years, Rex Robinson toured and recorded with Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, anchoring the band with his powerful bass playing and vocals. He has also performed with Peggy Lee, Liza Minnelli and Buddy Greco.
Richie Gajate Garcia (Percussion): A world-class percussionist, he has worked with Phil Collins, Sting, Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross. Garcia began his career touring with Frankie Valli in 1973 and even recommended Robby Robinson to Frankie Valli in 1978, sparking a lifelong collaboration.
Chuck Wilson (Drums/Vocals): A Litchfield native, Wilson played alongside Robby Robinson in the ’60s before becoming drummer/vocalist for Frankie Valli through the 1980s.
Bill DeLoach (Keyboards/Vocals): DeLoach joined The Four Seasons in 1972, stepping into Bob Gaudio’s role. He’s performed at Madison Square Garden, on TV specials and later served as music director for Las Vegas legend Danny Gans.
Fino Roverto (Guitar/Vocals): Roverto toured with Frankie Valli throughout the 1990s, delivering fiery guitar and soaring harmony vocals. He’s also worked with Thomas Dolby, Jay & The Americans and Chuck Negron.
Dominic Scaglione, Jr. (Vocals - Frankie Valli role): Dominic Scaglione, Jr. starred as Frankie Valli in the Broadway, Chicago and Las Vegas productions of “Jersey Boys.” Born just steps from where Valli grew up, Scaglione, Jr. has performed on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Tony Awards, at The White House and was handpicked by Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio to sing at Valli’s New Jersey Hall of Fame induction. He has also toured with Destiny’s Child and Christina Aguilera.
