HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Convenient Care Now Offering Walk-in Lab Services

HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is expanding access to outpatient laboratory services with the addition of walk-in lab services at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Convenient Care, 1512 N. Green Mount Rd.

The new lab location opens Aug. 10, and will be available daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., including weekends.

“The expansion of walk-in lab services at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Convenient Care reflects our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our community,” said Michael Janis, HSHS Southern Illinois Market Chief Operating Officer. “With the Convenient Care’s extended evening and weekend hours, community members can receive their outpatient lab services close to home and on a schedule that works for them.

” St. Elizabeth’s Convenient Care walk-in lab will include a wide range of services, including routine blood work, urine testing, diagnostic testing and more.

Walk-in lab services will continue to be offered at HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, 1 St. Elizabeth’s Blvd., Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients should check in at the new registration area, now located just inside the outpatient entrance of the hospital. With the addition of weekend lab services at St. Elizabeth’s Convenient Care, Saturday lab hours at the hospital will be discontinued after Saturday, Sept. 5.

No appointment is necessary at either location.
