Toast of the Town returns to downtown Springfield and the Old State Capitol

Raise a glass for a great cause at the Toast to Downtown, an exclusive evening benefiting HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital.
The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the historic Old State Capitol in downtown Springfield. Hosted by Resource One, INB and Isringhausen Imports, Inc., Toast to Downtown is part of the HSHS St. John’s Foundation’s Toast of the Town series, a collection of “parties with a purpose” that bring people together to support patient care in the community.
“Toast of the Town is about celebrating our community while making a meaningful difference for the patients and families we serve,” said Ali Farmer, Director of the St. John’s Foundation. “This year, we’re gathering to benefit our patients and families at St. John’s Children’s Hospital. We’re grateful to the hosts and everyone who joins us for making an evening like this possible.”
Guests will enjoy an evening of food, beverages and entertainment in one of Springfield’s most iconic settings. Attendees can walk where Abraham Lincoln once walked while enjoying the company of friends and community members, all while supporting children receiving care at St. John’s Children’s Hospital.
Tickets are $150 for an individual or $250 for a pair. The ticket deadline is Oct. 10. Parking is available at Resource One, 321 E. Adams St.

Throughout the year, generous friends of the HSHS St. John’s Foundation host Toast of the Town events in unique venues with distinctive themes and atmospheres.
