Recognize a Colleague
HSHS St. John's Hospital offers several ways for you to recognize our colleagues that have provided you or your loved ones extraordinary care.
Nominate a deserving recipient for The DAISY or BEE Award. This nomination means that a colleague's clinical skill and especially his/her COMPASSIONATE care exemplify the kind of caregiver that our patients, their families, and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model. Please describe a specific situation or story that clearly demonstrates how this colleague made a meaningful difference in your care, as well as how the colleague demonstrated our core values of RESPECT, CARE, COMPETENCE and JOY.
If you would like to nominate anyone involved with your care for this award and recognition opportunity, ask a member of your care team for the appropriate forms or fill out our online form below.
The DAISY Award for Nursing
The BEE (Being Extraordinary Everyday) Award was established to recognize the colleagues who go beyond expectations outside of nursing. Just as a daisy cannot survive without the bee, our nurses rely on support of other staff to offer extraordinary care. If you would like to recognize a member of your care team, outside of nursing, please ask a member of your care team for a BEE Award nomination form or submit online.
