Patient and Family Engagement Council

When you or your family member was in one of our hospitals, did you think there were things we could have done better? Are you interested in helping our doctors, nurses and administrators improve the quality of care provided at our hospitals?

If you answered yes to these questions, you should consider joining our Patient and Family Engagement Council (PFEC).

PFEC members provide a voice that represents all patients and families who receive care at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center or a Prevea Health Center in the Green Bay area.

Council members will be asked to attend a meeting every other month to discuss and plan changes that improve hospital quality and safety. Current members include former patients, family members and hospital staff. Council members are asked to share their personal stories, review or help create education or informational materials and work on short-term projects (for example, creating new hospital signage).
