At HSHS St. Vincent's Hospital we understand that there may be difficult times for the patients and families we serve, which is why we offer various types of support groups as a place for individuals to come together and share stories and experiences in a safe environment guided by trained facilitators from having a baby to grieving for a loved one.

Brain Injury Support Group

The brain injury support group offers assistance to those who have sustained a brain injury due to trauma, as well as their friends and family members. Those who attend receive education, information, support, encouragement and opportunities for socialization.

Stroke Support Group

The Northeast Wisconsin Stroke Support Group is open to stroke survivors, caregivers, family and friends. The purpose of the Stroke Support Group is to promote an increased understanding of stroke through written materials and guest speakers, sharing of concerns by stroke sufferers and their caregivers, as well as opportunities for increased community involvement and social interaction.

The group typically meets the second Thursday of every month from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Please call 920-433-0111 to verify, as schedule does change.
