If surgery is right for you, we have two surgical centers to best meet your needs.

Inpatient Surgery

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital is home to all inpatient orthopedic care, such as total hip and knee replacement surgeries or spine surgeries, providing around-the-clock care for patients and their families. During the hospital stay, the patient may receive inpatient physical and occupational therapy services to help with the recovery process.

Outpatient Surgery

The HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital Sheboygan Surgery Center is an outpatient facility offering patients the opportunity to have select surgical procedures, which do not require an overnight stay, be performed outside the hospital setting.
During your hospital stay, you may need inpatient physical or occupational therapy to help you regain independence.

After your hospital stay, you may be referred to Prevea Health’s outpatient physical or occupational therapy to assist you in restoring movement, relieving pain and/or regaining strength. Your therapists will work closely with your doctor to develop a customized treatment plan to get back to enjoying your favorite activities.
