Bonnie Coburn, APRN Joins Family Medicine in Mt. Zion

HSHS Medical Group is excited to welcome Bonnie Coburn, APRN, to HSHS Family Medicine – Mt. Zion at 4965 E. Lost Bridge Road in Decatur. Coburn is a board-certified family medicine provider with more than 20 years of experience in nursing and advanced practice. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky; her Master of Science in nursing and family nurse practitioner certification from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois; and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing in Danville, Illinois. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing and holds ANCC certification as a family nurse practitioner.

With over 20 years of experience, Coburn provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing on collaboration, preventive health and patient education. She is dedicated to shared decision-making and meeting patients where they are, ensuring everyone receives personalized care.
