AthletiCare at HSHS St. Mary’s offers our student athletes a unique sports enhancement experience because the training is brought to your child’s school at a time convenient for them.
Each athlete will work to improve SPEED, AGILITY, VERTICAL JUMP and POWER, while training to PREVENT INJURY. We utilize all new equipment including: speed parachutes and heavy resistance cords for speed training, Vertimax jump system and plyo-boxes to maximize vertical jump, battle ropes and heavy med balls for developing power and more.
Pre- and Post-tests will be completed and sent to all parents at the conclusion of the camp.
A guided exercise program (GEP) is for individuals with orthopedic difficulties or other conditions which affect their ability to perform physical tasks.
GEP enables participants to continue to exercise independently with the help and support of our knowledgeable staff. A health questionnaire and a waiver of liability is required.
AthletiCare colleagues will guide participants through an orientation process to familiarize them with the equipment and help establish a proper program for his or her needs and goals.
Program Fee:
$25 per month or $250 per year. Cash or checks accepted. Insurance will not be billed.
Under the direction of a health care provider, Path to Well Being participants will continue to exercise independently, build a new program as a bridge between formal therapy and GEP or take part in structured personal training sessions.
