Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy, or OT, is a health profession focused on restoring health and the promotion of wellness. OT is available to patients when a physical, mental or functional problem interferes with their ability to perform activities of daily living, and/or occupational tasks, appropriate to their age and level of independence. In addition to traditional OT roles in the hospital, acute rehab, behavioral health, orthopedics, neuro-rehab and trauma settings, OTs play a role in pediatrics, hand rehabilitation, upper extremity conditions and lymphedema. The ultimate goal of OT is to restore function to an individual and maximize their independence.
Our services include acute rehab, behavioral health, neuro-rehab, trauma, pediatrics, upper extremity orthopedic injuries, hand rehab, lymphedema and acute workers’ compensation injuries.
