Investing in Your Future—Affordably

At St. John’s College of Nursing, we believe financial concerns should never stand in the way of becoming a nurse. That’s why we offer a wide range of financial support options—including scholarships, grants, federal and private loans, and flexible payment plans—to help you pursue your education with confidence.

Whether you're an undergraduate, a working RN seeking advancement, or a graduate student, our Financial Aid team is here to guide you every step of the way.

Explore Types of Aid

Includes Pell Grants, FSEOG, and Federal Direct Loans (subsidized, unsubsidized, and PLUS). Requires FAFSA completion.   Federal Loans require completion of MPN (Master Promissory Note) and EC (Loan Entrance Counseling). 
Merit-based and need-based scholarships are funded by alumni and donors.
Available through employers, foundations, and nursing organizations. Students are encouraged to apply annually.
MAP Grants are available for eligible Illinois residents. Awards are limited and issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
St. John’s participates in the federal loan program and provides a loan comparison tool for private options.
Interest-free installment plans are offered each semester through the Bursar’s Office.
Work-study eligibility is determined through your FAFSA. If you're interested, contact the Financial Aid Office to express your interest. Job opportunities are shared by email or posted on campus.
