St. John’s LPN to BSN program is also a gateway to advanced education. Graduates are well-prepared for graduate-level nursing programs offered at the college, including: 
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) – with tracks in Family Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Educator 
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) – focused on clinical leadership and systems-based practice 
Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN® exam and apply for licensure as a registered nurse in Illinois or other U.S. states, subject to individual state board of nursing requirements.
